Really nice hotel for the price. Great location. Rooms are small - European in size, but who cares? Get out and enjoy DC. Also, small rooms reduce your energy expenditure on climate control. Would definately return. Attached bistro is also a fine choice if you really don't want to go out of the hotel. more

We stayed at Madera over a long weekend in DC. I was underwhelmed by the hotel's staff and services. In particular, room services are available only during very limited and odd hours. The location is good--near Dupont Circle Metro stop, and the rooms are relatively nice. Overall just OK. more

The Hotel Madera is in a great location in DC (Dupont Circle). We had a very spacious room with a balcony looking out between N & O Streets. Very contemporary design. The staff were very professional & had the attitudes of people who enjoy their jobs. Valet parking was expensive @ $35 plus tax, but not really any other option.... more

I love staying at Kimpton hotels as they are such a break from the norm for me, as a business traveler. I got it for very cheap on hotwire.com. This hotel is gorgeous and ultra modern.
