Room was dark but clean. At least carpet was not stained. We had a meal as part of a group booking and that was excellent but did not eat in restaurant at all. It was a 15-20 min walk into town but quite pleasant. It needs a makeover. more

We were here for two nights and found the hotel to be well appointed if a little way out of the centere of Jasper, a long walk for disabled guests. however despite that we found the rooms to be well appointed, generous in space and facilities and there was free internet access for guests, brilliant! We dined in the facilities... more
Stayed 2 nights from Aug 28th. Had room 220, away from Reception area. I had mailed them and asked for quiet room and they obliged. Room was of good size and resonable in appearance, except no toilet paper, they did supply when asked. No Air Con. an the fan did not function at fist. Could hear TV through wall and... more
This hotel has the facilities to be really nice but it is badly run and very disappointing. The rooms are dirty, the kitchens have no natural light or ventilation and hence the whole room smells. The only source of fresh air is the window but as the staff sit outside chatting and smoking that does not work. To compound this,... more
We arrived very late at the Lobstick Lodge, and I was worried after reading the reviews on here that this would be a bad hotel. I was very happy to see that it wasn't. Its location is on the motel strip in town. Jasper is tiny, so it is only a short walk to the shops and cafes. We checked... more
Was hesitant to stay here after reading some reviews, but gave it a shot. The staff were fantastic. Lobby was very busy during check in, however staff were efficient, polite and very helpful. Room was a kitchen suite on the 3rd floor and very comfortable. Bathroom had recently been renovated - one of the nicest I have seen in my... more

The windows did not open but the hotel without airconditioning had thoughtfully supplied 2 fans which were needed to cool the room. The hotel has far too many tour parties spending one night for guest to complain about the poor service. more
My friend and myself stayed here for 2 nights. The hotel was ok although we had a basement room and found the room dark. The room was not huge although neat and clean. It was about a 15 minute walk into the main street of Jasper and was not an unpleasant walk if you walk through the little streets. We... more
Rooms where dark and dreary. Corridoors where really noisy in the night. Nearly the last hotel on the strip! more
My wife and I were allocated a basement room at the front of the Hotel. The room was large with all amenities and so all appeared to be okay, that is until we tried to get some sleep. The hotel was quite busy and we heard the noise of every person leaving and entering the place until well into the... more
