We made a pre-Christmas escape to the JPL and loved it. After a challenging day of cross-country skiing at Maligne Lake, we retreated to the outdoor hot pool and then relaxed in our well-appointed suite that looked out on Lac Beauvert. The Jasper Park Lodge is NOT your typical Fairmont. However, the service was wonderful, and you can't beat the scenery. Definitely worth the splurge for a fun weekend out.
