This park is very interesting! There is lots to do. The people in the visitors center are very nice and helpful. The center also has a musuem of sorts. Nice artifacts to look at and plenty of info about the history of the park. They also have a nice gift shop and some drinks. There is also a theater where... more

I don't know why, but for some reason I enjoyed this park as much as any I have been to. It's less crowded than a lot of battlefields, and there is a lot to see and do here. Also, the Chapel on the way out has intriguing stained glass depicting the life of George Washington. There is a very nice... more

Visited Valley Forge National Historical Park on a cool, breezy fall-like mid-September weekend. What a wonderful experience! We were lucky to emerge from the informational film just as a terrific park ranger named Peter was about to lead a tour (about 1/4 mile). The tour was excellent, as Peter led us to the beautiful ridge overlooking the Great Valley and... more

Start at the Welcome Center to get the maps and obligatory information on the area. The map is self explanatory excpet when you appear to leave the park - just follow the map and signs. Washington's HQ is the best of the stops. You can see what the building looked like while he was there and the busy life they... more
