Pittsburgh built “The Prettiest Ballpark” for sure, but this is not just another pretty face! We had such a great time on our planned Friday night game (Game #1 of our roadtrip) that we cancelled plans for Saturday (incline and dinner at Mt Washington) to come back to another game (Game #2). We saw the Pirates play the Mets. We... more

The park and the views of the river from the park are beautiful, even if the baseball wasn't fantastic. Be sure to take the Roberto Clemente Bridge to walk to the park, so that you can get a full view. more

We love going to MLB games and have been to 15 of the current 30 stadiums. We made a late change to our vacation plans so we could go through Pittsburgh to take in a game at PNC Park because I kept hearing good things about it. Well, let me add my "Amen" to the other reviews. Wrigley Field is... more

A writer from ESPN did a ballpark tour a couple of years ago and rated PNC #1. A trendy choice we thought, but was it really that great? Now that we've visited we can really appreciate what a nice ballpark they have here. Sure there's the usual between-innings gimmickry, but otherwise this feels like a ballpark and not a theme... more

Visited here for the fourth straight year in April 2008. This park never disappoints. Despite the cold weather and sometimes light rain, the park, the atmosphere, are awesome. Great time no matter what. Stayed at the Marriott downtown and walked over the picturesque Roberto Clemente bridge downtown. G Man more

Anytime I can get vegetarian-style fare at a ball-game, I am happy. Most places don't carry that sort of thing, so I just eat a lot of fries. No such issue at this park. They also have a load of different beers throughout the park, from local breweries to a few international beers. The lighting is good, the layout is... more

Being from Pittsburgh I'm probably a little biased, but I've been to about 15 different stadiums and Pittsburgh's is the best. It brings that old time feel to it. Of course it isn't the same as sitting at Wrigley Field, but the feel is there. I've also sat in just about every price area there, and there truly isn't a... more

The nicest of all the new ballparks. Best spot for viewing Pittsburgh. Paddle boats cruise up and down the river during the game. Sitting in the Upper Deck truly does justice for those wanting to soak it all in. Don't miss out on the Pittsburger which includes fries and slaw mixed in. Manny Sanguien has a BBQ stand in centerfield... more

PNC falls under the category of the "retro" park, like Camden Yards and Comerica; as a result, it is very fan-friendly, easy to locate, and provides a breathtaking view of the Pittsburgh skyline. I walked from my hotel to the park via the Clemente (6th Ave.) bridge. The park sits along the river, so you can walk the riverfront before... more
