We went here the first weekend this was open for the season, April 1st. There was a snowstorm that day and the day before. With the snow and ice, it was just breathtaking. I almost feel we were lucky to have seen it this way. We got to see the fireplace going, which was surely something one would not have... more

Reservations are recommended. You risk a long wait otherwise. Welcome center is nice with gift shop and casual restaurant. The tour and the house itself are wonderful. Fascinating facts about Wright and the Kaufman's, as well as views to die for. After the tour, a great area for photos is a short walk from the home and the view is... more

I am not someone particularly interested in architecture or design, I planned a visit here mainly because I knew my wife would love it. Well, so did I! What a setting - I would have been tempted to never leave if it were my house. We've been to places like Hearst Castle, the Newport mansions, Winterthur in Delaware, Belle Meade... more

We can't say enough about our trip to Fallingwater. As a group of 3 architects and 1 interior designer, our pilgrimage to the site was way overdue and much anticipated, and we savored every minute of it! Worth every minute of our 6 hour drive there from New York! As with any great work of architecture, photos do not do... more

This was incredible. We came to Pennsylvania just to see it, and we weren't let down. There is so much more to see here than just the standard photos that are printed everywhere. It would be such a cool place to live, for more reasons than just sitting on a waterfall. Go ahead and spring for the in-depth tour if... more

If you are a Frank Lloyd Wright fan -- or just have a passing interest in architecture -- this is a MUST visit. Flew to Pittsburgh for the Memorial Day weekend and drove to Fallingwater on that Sunday. We did the indepth tour (brunch was sold out at the time we made reservations but we ended up being just as... more

My grandmother was in the Fellowship at Taliesen adn Taliesen West. I grew up in FLW influenced houses my whole life. I did not know what a basement or a garage were. But it was not until visiting Fallingwater that I realized what my grandmother's houses were trying to get at. This house and the land around it are beyond... more

I had been longing to see this wonderous home for about a decade, and finally for my birthday, my husband booked a trip to see it. It is an amazing place. The site placement, the gravity defying canteleavered terraces, words do not properly descibe this house. It is truly magical. We had booked the in depth tour before leaving home.... more

We decided to stop here on the way to Pittsburgh for a weekend trip. We had no idea we would love it so much. It really is an amazing home. FYI there is a great small resteraunt named Albrights with great prices and good food. Since there is not much else there to eat and the food at Fallingwater is... more
